Bounce Pro 14′ Trampoline Review
Updated: 6/15/2023
If you need some direction finding the right trampoline, consider the Bounce Pro 14-foot trampoline. Not only is it the ideal size for medium to large backyards, but it’s also great for jumpers of all ages. Its extra accessories (Spinner Flashlight Zone and Electron Shooter) make it a wonderful choice for families with kids.
Product Specifications
This kids trampoline comes with a galvanized steel frame and UV-resistant jump mat. The Steel Flex safety enclosure has padded poles and UV-resistant PE netting for increased security. The enclosure also has a steel-cabled ring top for additional support.
You can choose to add the Spinner Flash Litez or the Electron Shooter as an accessory during purchase. The Spinner Flash Litez includes the Bonus Litez that attaches underneath the trampoline for light-up fun, which doesn’t interfere with your child’s safety. The motion-activated Electron Shooter includes targets that are easy to set up and attach to the enclosure ring.
Age and Weight Limitation
The Bounce Pro 14′ trampoline is suggested for jumpers, ages 6 and up. Like most trampolines, only one jumper should bounce at a time for safety reasons. The weight limitation is 200 pounds.
Bounce Pro 14′ Manufacturer
Sportspower Ltd. has been manufacturing trampolines and outdoor play equipment for at least 20 years, with retailers in the U.S., Mexico, United Kingdom, South America, Australia and New Zealand. They take pride in developing high-quality, innovative equipment, which meet industry-tested standards.
What’s Included in the Shipment
The Bounce Pro ships in two boxes. You’ll receive a UV resistant jump mat, high-quality pad protector, and the accessory you selected during purchase – the Spinner Flash Litez or the Electron Shooter with targets. The Steel Flex enclosure includes padded poles, PE netting and a steel-cable ring top.
If you are apprehensive about loading the springs that hold the mat to the frame, you’ll find a spring-loading tool with your shipment, for easier installation.
What Customers Say About Shipment
While customers love the trampoline, one owner suggested buying a ladder, as it does not include one. Another was disappointed that the lights did not come with batteries.
Safety History
In May 2012, there was a recall due to the brown enclosure mesh (netting) breaking apart. The recall applied to BouncePro 14-foot trampolines that were sold from February 2009 through February 2012. Owners were to discontinue using the trampoline and request a replacement black mesh from Sportspower at 888-965-0565.
There have been no other safety concerns reported, relating to the mesh since the replacement.
What Customers Say About Safety
Owners love that the enclosure holds tightly, making it safer for younger jumpers and keeping them from falling out. On the other hand, some mentioned that the springs do not have much bounce, which prevents a good bounce and causes the trampoline to somewhat sag.
The mother of a toddler reviewed the trampoline’s safety positively, noting that the poles keep the shape at the top of the net in place. Another parent was impressed with how secure the net was.
What Customers Say About Durability and Quality
Parents with energetic kids were satisfied with the durability of the trampoline. The poles keep the shape of the netting. This prevents sag and keeps the frame in place. Customers note that the frame is lightweight and easy to move.
One reviewer suggested that buyers invest in anchors to secure the trampoline during stormy or windy conditions. Without these anchors, the enclosure poles are said to bend when flipped, even though the frame survived.
There were a few complaints that the lights that came with the Bounce Pro were not as bright as advertised.
What Customers Say About Assembly
Several owners were satisfied with the decent instructions that came with the trampoline and found it easier to assemble. They especially loved the spring-loading tool that came with the shipment. Assembly took approximately one to two hours.
Most needed an extra hand to complete the installation, but a few were able to install the BouncePro on their own.
Where You Can Purchase a BouncePro 14′ Trampoline
The BouncePro 14′ Trampoline is sold exclusively at Wal-Mart and a handful of other online retailers.
Cost
The Bounce Pro 14′ trampoline costs about $260.
Where You Can Get Replacement Parts
Replacement parts are available at Walmart and other online distributors.
Care and Maintenance
As with other trampolines, proper care and maintenance will extend the life of your BouncePro. Depending on your location, this may include storage for the winter, anchors for high winds, or replacement of pads due to general wear and tear.
Why the BouncePro 14-foot Trampoline is Recommended
The majority of owners love this trampoline and only a handful do not.
Overall, the BouncePro is a safe, fun and durable outdoor equipment, great for larger areas and families with children, ages 6 or older. While families love the BouncePro with or without the bonus toys and lights, its innovative games make it stand out from other kids trampolines.
Hello, great review. Any idea where i night find s copy of the installation instructions online. Thanks so much!!
Thanks, Brian, and welcome. You can find a copy of the installation instructions at Trampoline USA, here: http://www.trampolineusa.com/maforbopro14.html, but unfortunately, it’s not free. They’re currently selling the manual for $5.00.
I had the trampoline for 3 days and the springs started to stretch out and now the trampoline sags and im afraid its unsafe for my kids. I am considering returning it for my money back becausr i had it less than a week and the springs were already stretched out. Not very happy customer.
That’s too bad, Tasha. I’m sorry to hear that it didn’t work out with the BouncePro. Yes, by all means, I’d suggest returning it.
The bouncepro trampoline was easy to put together, with 2 people. It took about 2 hours to finish. The t-bars that hold the net round at the top were confusing and we thought they were manufactured wrong, but turned out they weren’t. We bought this for our 3 year old, mostly, and we also have a 16 year old that loves it as well. Although it is recommended for 6+, I am very impressed with the safety of the overall trampoline, net, zipper, etc.. I do feel safe with my 3 year old jumping, with supervision. ours came with the slamajama basketball hoop, with a basketball, and the pump to inflate it, which I wasn’t expecting. And all the tools that came with the trampoline, especially the spring loading tool, was great. It was definitely a great Investment and am very happy with our purchase.
That’s great, Sharon! Thanks for letting us know.
I’m having a hard time finding a battery for the shooter game. The target were easy to find, but I for the life of me don’t know what kind of battery the round ball takes or where to find them?? We went to Wal-Mart tonight, but all their 1.5V batteries are too big to fit into it. Any suggestions where I can find a battery for this??
Hi, Marci!
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having a hard time find a battery for the shooter game. You might have better success getting one through a BouncePro authorized supplier, such as Sports Power Trampoline Parts, 1800Trampoline.com or Trampoline USA. I’ve listed some contact numbers below:
SportsPower Trampoline Parts: 855-800-5867
Trampoline USA: 866-872-6765
Just Trampolines: 888-682-2364
Thanks.
What is the easiest way to get the enclosure poles together? We, (2 people), tried for hours and still have not been able to get it together. We followed the instructions to a “t” and still unsuccessful. Any advise?
Hi, Scott
Sorry for the delay. I just saw your comment. Hopefully, this note isn’t too late. Maybe this video can help. It covers the installation of a BouncePro trampoline, and the setup of the enclosure poles is towards the end:

Thanks!
how do I attach the net to the bottom of the trampoline? I read the instructions about lacing it around the spring but nothing is working? I’m actually wondering if I got sent the wrong size bet because no matter what I do the net won’t fit. Please help
Hi, Michelle
I’m sorry to hear you’re having difficulty with the net. How frustrating! Yes, it definitely sounds like a sizing issue. I’d suggest checking your trampoline’s model number to see if it goes with the enclosure net. A Bounce Pro retailer (such as Trampoline USA or Just Trampolines) can help you figure out the correct size. The original retailer might be able to help you too, depending on where you got the trampoline from.
Thanks.
Whom do I need to contact about warranty issues regarding the springs? The springs are stretched and my daughter hasn’t only had this product since Christmas Day.
Hi, Tanya! I’d suggest trying the store where you purchased the trampoline, as each store handles their own warranty. If you need to purchase new springs, you can also try Sportspower Trampoline Parts at 1-855-800-5867. They are an authorized distributor, however, and don’t handle warranty issues.
Hope that helps.
Thanks.
EXTREMELY disppointed that I have to PAY for an instruction manual! We siimply moved and have misplaced it, but it is going to COST us an additional fee to be able to put it back together?! THAT IS RIDCULOUS!
