Product Specifications

This model is 12 feet in diameter and comes with a total of 6 W-shaped legs for added stability. The frame is made with heavy, gauge galvanized, rust-resistant steel. The distance from ground to mat is 2.95 feet high, and the top of the enclosure net is 9.5 feet from the ground.

Age and Weight Limitation

The Merax has a weight limit of 300 lbs, so it’s ideal for children and adults. Families with smaller kids and teenagers can use it (parents, too!). No age is specified by the manufacturer, so we’d recommend a minimum age of 6 years.

Safety

The Merax trampoline is equipped with a safety net enclosure, so you don’t have to purchase one separately.

Manufacturer

Merax manufactures this trampoline. They are based in California and offer a variety of products for home, office, fitness, travel, pets and kids.

What’s Included in the Shipment

Your purchase includes the trampoline, enclosure net, ladder and basketball hoop and ships in three boxes. It’s important to note that the basketball is not included, but you can purchase any standard basketball and it will fit through the hoop.

What Customers Say About Shipment

Most owners didn’t complain about the shipment. However, a few customers mentioned that some parts were either damaged or missing, and that some of the boxes arrived on different days.

What Customers Say About Safety

Merax trampoline safety review The basketball hoop that comes with the trampoline is made out of metal, and some customers noted that taller kids are at risk for hitting their heads on it. One reviewer used a foam pool noodle as a solution to cover the metal.

What Customers Say About Durability and Quality

Many customers found the Merax to be a good, quality trampoline for the cost. However, there were mixed reviews.

Some owners said the safety net broke earlier than anticipated. Others noted the frame is not very sturdy and is made with lightweight materials. You may need to replace items sooner than you would with other trampoline options.

Additionally, both manufacturer and customers warn jumpers not to slam dunk the basketball, as it will cause the hoop to bend.

What Customers Say About Assembly

Most owners said it took them about 2 to 4 hours to put the trampoline together, and thought the process was straightforward and easy. One family had their 14-year-old son assemble the product. Those that were having issues found online videos to help them through the process.

How easy is it to assemble the Merax trampoline Cost

The Merax is roughly $320 at the time of this review. Amazon currently sells it for $259.99 with free shipping, and it’s not currently available for prime shipping.

Where You Can Purchase this Trampoline

At the time of this review, we could only find this particular model at Amazon.com, but not other retailers.

Where You Can Get Replacement Parts

Customers said that Merax didn’t offer the best customer service, and they couldn’t get solid assistance with replacement parts. You would likely need to purchase these parts from a hardware store or Amazon.

Based on the reviews, if you are looking for a product that is backed by top-notch customer service, you may want to consider a different trampoline.

Care and Maintenance

Many customers noted that this trampoline is easily carried away by wind, so they’d recommend investing in solid anchors to keep it from blowing away.

Why the Trampoline is Recommended

If your family is on a tight budget and you want to get started with an affordable trampoline, consider the Merax 12-feet round trampoline. While it isn’t the fanciest trampoline on the market, you do get a lot of features you would otherwise have to purchase separately.
