The SkyBound Stratos Trampoline is available in three different sizes to meet your needs, and offers a generous weight limit regardless of the size you decide to go with.

Product Specifications

The SkyBound Stratos Trampoline comes in 12 ft, 14 ft and 15 ft options, but due to high demand, it’s sometimes sold out. The dimensions of the trampolines are approximately 16 ft tall (including enclosure,) x 16 ft diameter x 9 ft.  from pad to top of enclosure. The frame rim height is 2’ 10” from the ground.

The springs for the SkyBound Stratos is what sets this trampoline apart from many other models. It has 96 galvanized, zinc hot-dipped “gold” springs that are 8 ½ inch long. These premium springs are designed to give you a deep rebound and return similar to performing trampolines.

Weight Limitations

Whether you decide to go for the 12 ft, 14 ft or 15 ft model, each of these options gives you a generous weight limit of 330 lbs. The manufacturer recommends that jumpers are at least 6 years and older.

Manufacturer

SkyBound USA is the manufacturer of this product, and they are based in Orange, CA. They were founded in 2009 as a trampoline replacement parts provider for other trampoline brands. In 2014, they evolved as a company and now manufacture their own lines of trampolines. They pride themselves on their award-winning service and support while offering quality products.

Safety Specifications

Trampoline safety review for the SkyBound Statos. The SkyBound Stratos meets or exceeds ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) safety standards. These models feature an “upgraded” high-density concave enclosure net that is reinforced with a top-ring system that has metal bands to add rigidity and stability to the enclosure. This trampoline also comes with a thick, 2-piece safety pad to cover the springs. This safety pad also has an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal coating.

What Owners Say About Safety

A few owners said that the safety reviews were the main reason they chose this model, and they were pleased with the product when their children used it. Most owners say the trampoline is very stable.

Durability

The SkyBound Stratos is made with a matte black powder coated frame that helps prevent corrosion.  Plus, it also offers proprietary weather-resistant enclosure pole foam, which lasts as much as 3 times longer than other trampolines that use standard foam. Additionally, the special coating used on the springs, mentioned earlier, helps prevent them from rusting quickly.  These special touches help make this a durable trampoline that can withstand the outdoor elements.

Because of these points, the frame has a 10-year warranty. The net, safety pads and springs each have a 6-month warranty.

What Owners Say About Durability

Out of the many reviews on Amazon, Walmart and SkyBound’s pages, most owners say the safety net is very durable. One reviewer was not impressed with the enclosure net and claimed that it had holes in it after a few months of everyday use, but a majority of the other owners thought otherwise and said it is a well-constructed, sturdy trampoline.

Assembly

SkyBound states that users can easily assemble the SkyBound Stratos in an hour.  This model does not use the typical nuts, brackets, braces, and screws that other trampolines have. Instead, they use push-pin buttons and have machine-welded parts to eliminate the extra work for you.

What Owners Say About Assembly

Durability of SkyBound Statos trampoline Some owners said that the instructions that came with the trampoline were not good.  However, SkyBound responded to their concerns and stated they were re-writing the instruction manual to make assembly easier for future buyers.

On another note, many other owners stated that this trampoline was easily assembled, and were able to put it together in an hour or so, just as SkyBound has claimed. Some of the owners, as well as the manufacturer, recommended multiple people to help put the trampoline together.

A small number of buyers said parts were missing from their shipment, but SkyBound sent replacement parts very quickly.  Their attention to customer service helped in that regard, and was very well-received by the owners.

Where to Purchase

During the summer of COVID-19, the SkyBound Stratos trampolines are difficult to find in stock anywhere. However, the 12, 14 and 15 ft models have previously been available on the SkyBound website, as well as Amazon and Walmart.

If you can’t find this trampoline, its cousin, the SkyBound Outdoor trampoline may work as well. You can grab that model from Walmart.

What’s Included in the Shipment

The SkyBound Stratos includes the trampoline, safety enclosure, attachable shoe holder, and spring pull tool to help with assembly. Though not included in the shipment, some owners recommended a rubber mallet for assembly.

Average Cost

Depending on the size, the SkyBound Stratos Trampolines range from $699-$950, depending on the vendor.

Care and Maintenance

SkyBound recommends that the trampoline is stored away in a dry place during the winter months to avoid harsh elements. If storing it is impractical, they suggest using a cover to protect it from bad weather conditions and debris. They also recommend that, if you cannot disassemble and store the entire trampoline, that you store the pad and springs over the winter, and the frame can stay outside.

Additionally, the manufacturer also states that a shovel or other hard object should never be used to clear off the trampoline as you can tear the mat or enclosure net. Instead, you can use a soft bristle brush or broom to remove snow, debris, and leaves.

As with any other trampoline, SkyBound suggests that you securely anchor your trampoline to the ground in case of high winds.
